In this role you will act as the primary finance interface between the German entity and the headquarters in China, with a strong focus on group reporting, consolidation, and financial transparency. You will ensure high-quality financial information, alignment of reporting standards, and efficient communication across entities.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and delivering regular financial reports to headquarters, including detailed analysis and commentary
- Executing and supporting the group consolidation process, including intercompany reconciliation and data validation
- Continuously improving and standardizing reporting structures, processes, and data quality
- Acting as the main point of contact for financial matters between Germany and headquarters, ensuring alignment of reporting timelines and requirements
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, IFRS, and UK GAAP
- Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance of accounting records
- Working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (required) and Lucanet (preferred)
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Preparing and coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes as well as variance analysis
- Supporting cash flow management and cross-border payment processes
- Coordinating with external tax advisors and ensuring compliance with German tax regulations
- Ensuring adherence to internal control systems and contributing to continuous process improvements
- Supporting administrative and HR-related tasks as required by the business
- Contributing to ad hoc finance projects and cross-functional initiatives
