Finance Manager (m/f/d)

General Purpose
Responsible for the professional and organizational management of financial accounting, including closing processes, team leadership, and the continuous development of the finance organization within a corporate group environment.

The role combines operational closing responsibility with leadership, analytical, and transformationrelated tasks. This is a hybrid position that requires partially on-site presence in Bahlingen a.K. / Haslach in the Kinzigtal region.

Finance Manager (m/f/d)
Annual gross salary range: EUR 90.000 – 120.000

• Overall responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the closing calendar and ensure that all reporting deadlines are met.
• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership to the accounting team.
• Manage and oversee external and internal shared service centers.
• Define service levels and escalation mechanisms with the shared service center.
• Ensure the quality of all shared service center deliverables through structured quality assurance reviews.
• Identify financial risks at an early stage and escalate critical matters in a timely manner.
• Act as key point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and tax auditors.
• Take responsibility for accounting matters under German GAAP (HGB) and corporate group standards.
• Analyze developments in the balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Design efficient finance processes and control systems.
• Support ERP, shared service center, and transformation projects.
• Develop and coach employees.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, including SOX / business controls.
• Contribute relevant project experience and actively support project execution.

• Degree in Finance / Accounting or certified German Bilanzbuchhalter qualification, combined with extensive leadership experience.
• Several years of leadership experience in finance.
• Proven experience in team leadership, including shared service center management.
• Very strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); US GAAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Strong process and change management skills.
• Very good SAP knowledge.
• Confident and professional communication with management, auditors, and corporate group functions.
• Fluently German and English language skills.
