Your mission
We are seeking a proactive Finance Manager with 5+ years of experience to own and lead the finance function in our growing start-up. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role requires someone who can work independently while providing regular updates to stakeholders. You’ll manage ERP systems, accounting tools, and bookkeeping processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys building processes from scratch and supporting operational decisions with clear financial insights.
- Lead and manage end-to-end financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports that support business operations and decision-making, including C-Suite reports for investors.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Implement and optimize ERP systems, accounting software, and bookkeeping tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor key financial metrics, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and external regulatory requirements, including analysis and resource allocation for public Grants.
- Ensure financial management complies with ISMS; support audits.
- Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes.
