Financial Accountant - 6 Month Contract!

What You'll Do:

• Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L analysis
  




• Prepare statutory financial statements under German GAAP and IFRS
  




• Support external audits and ensure timely completion of statutory obligations
  




• Assist in the preparation of tax and VAT returns, and reconcile related accounts
  




• Handle Accounts Payable and serve as the point of contact for T&E queries
  




• Collaborate with the payroll team and support payroll postings and reviews
  




• Contribute to ongoing legal entity rationalization projects
  

Requirements

What You Bring:

• ACA / ACCA / CPA / CA or equivalent qualification
  




• Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting
  




• Strong knowledge of German GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls
  




• Experience with VAT, tax accounting, and audit preparation
  




• Fluency in English (German is a plus)
  




• Meticulous attention to detail and an analytical mindset
  




• A hands-on, collaborative approach with the ability to meet tight deadlines
