On a daily basis, you will:

  Utilize AI tools to streamline finance tasks, including Datev and Excel.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage fiscal year closings and coordinate with external auditors.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with German payroll and tax laws.

  
  


• 
  

  Deliver reliable results while meeting deadlines.

  
  


• 
  

  Function independently and collaboratively within a team.

  Communicate effectively, using the BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) method.

  Anticipate potential issues and act proactively to address them.

  
  

The basics you bring along:

• 
  

  Fluency in German (C1) and solid English skills (B2 - C1)

  
  


• 
  

  5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role in a german entity, ideally in an international SME.

  
  


• 
  

  Deep knowledge of Datev and German payroll/tax law.

  
  


• 
  

  Work well within a team and have a fun-to-work-with attitude.
