Arbeitsbeschreibung - Finanzbuchhalter (w/m/d)

As a company of the Ideawise Group, Compay GmbH provides financial services in online trade. Secure payment processing between company and customer, as well as receivables management, are our specialties. We react innovatively to market requirements and work with motivation to find solutions.

Our highest goal is to support and expand our finance department with you. For our small team, we are looking for conscientious and detail-oriented number crunchers who have a team spirit and a passion for our financial future.

You are an active part of financial accounting (accounts receivable and accounts payable, reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts, account coverage, monthly financial statements, annual financial statements, advance VAT returns)
You are the contact person for auditors, internal audit, banks, insurance companies, tax offices and authorities and customers in financial matters
You further develop our reporting standards
You support risk management

You have a degree in business administration with a focus on controlling/accounting or a comparable commercial education or further training (e.g. Balance Sheet Accountant) or has several years of professional experience in the required specialisations
Your mathematical and financial understanding of numbers means that you are not afraid to deal with large amounts of data and familiarize yourself with various data structures
Your business understanding provides solutions to a wide variety of problems and you can keep an eye on several tasks at the same time
You have very good knowledge of spreadsheets and/or other tools for processing large amounts of data
You have a good command of English
