Founder Associate / Chief of staff

Our brands accompany families through different stages of childhood. With wyms, we are building one of the most exciting new school backpack brands in Europe, combining premium product design, direct-to-consumer e-commerce and operational excellence.

We’re looking for a Founder’s Associate / Chief of Staff to work directly with the founders and take ownership of the operational backbone of the business.

If you enjoy solving complex problems, building scalable processes and making companies run better every single day, this role is for you.

Tasks

As one of the first operational hires, you’ll work across almost every function of the business.

Your responsibilities include:

• Building and improving operational processes across the company
• Optimizing and automating workflows using AI and modern software tools
• Owning operational projects from idea to execution
• Improving our e-commerce operations and customer experience
• Working with Shopify, ERP systems, logistics partners and internal tools
• Supporting product launches and coordinating cross-functional projects
• Building dashboards, KPIs and reporting structures
• Identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions
• Working closely with suppliers, agencies and external partners
• Supporting strategic founder topics whenever needed

Requirements

• Excellent analytical and structured thinking
• Strong execution mindset and willingness to get things done
• High ownership and attention to detail
• Passion for operations, automation and technology
• Curious about AI and modern productivity tools
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
• Fluent in German and English

You don’t need experience in every area. Intelligence, ownership and the ability to learn quickly matter much more than ticking every box.
