reltix isn't one product, it's a portfolio of products that have to feel like one. The internal software our managers run the business on, the customer platform for owners and tenants, the property accounting system, the platforms our service providers will plug into, the voice agent on the phone, the agents across all of these: they all sit on the same operating system and they all need the same DNA.
As Founding Designer, you own that DNA. You define how every actor in the real estate value chain (managers, owners, tenants, tradespeople, asset managers, accountants) experiences reltix. And you do it at the moment when the foundations of each of these surfaces are being laid, not retrofitted years later. The decisions you make in your first six months will still be shaping the product when it's running an entire industry.
The hardest logics in property management, annual statements, reconciliations, owner approvals, contractor coordination, have to feel like a simple interaction. That translation from complexity to clarity is your job, across every surface we build.
You also own one of the most interesting design problems in the company: the intersection of human and AI collaboration. Our managers don't work next to AI, they work with it. The voice agent picks up the call; the manager steps in for the call that needs judgment. The chatbot answers the owner's question; the system executes the action. Designing those handovers, when AI acts alone, when it surfaces something to a human, how trust gets built and verified, is where reltix wins or loses. You set the patterns the rest of the industry will eventually copy.
What you'll do- Own end-to-end product design across the full reltix surface area: the internal manager software, the owner/tenant customer platform, the accounting system, the service-provider platforms, and the conversational surfaces (voice agent, chatbot).
- Define how humans and AI agents work together inside our product: the handovers, the confidence signals, the moments of override, the way context flows between a chatbot, a manager, and an autonomous action.
- Build and own our design system from zero so every surface stays coherent as the team and the product surface area multiply.
- Take dense, data-heavy workflows (annual statements, reconciliations, approval flows) and reduce them to interactions that feel obvious in hindsight.
- Sit close to real operations. Talk to our managers, owners, and service partners, watch them work, and turn what you see into product decisions.
- Partner directly with the founders and engineers; ship, learn, and iterate in short loops.
- Lay the foundation for the next designers, researchers, and brand hires who will join behind you.
