Arbeitsbeschreibung - Founding Sales Manager (DACH) | Nordic EdTech Scale-up

The Opportunity: Become the face of a Nordic market leader as we launch in Germany. We are hiring Employee #3 for an AI-powered Math platform that holds a dominant market share (80%) in Scandinavia and is rapidly growing in the US and UK.

The Mission: Germany is currently modernizing its education system (Digitalpakt Schule). You will lead the charge in bringing a proven, GDPR-compliant AI solution to German schools. You aren't just selling software; you are helping digitize mathematics education effectively.

  • The "Founding" Factor: You will work directly with the Country Manager to adapt our success formula to the German market. You are building the playbook, not just following it.
  • Product-Market Fit: This is not an experiment. Our AI works, and thousands of schools globally rely on it. We need your expertise to navigate the specific needs of the German public sector.
  • Uncapped Potential: The German market is vast and untouched. This is a greenfield opportunity with no legacy territories to restrict you.

Your Role:

  • Market Building: You will identify and engage key decision-makers at School Authorities (Schulträger) and School Managements (Schulleitungen).
  • Consultative Sales: You will navigate complex, public-sector sales cycles (3-6 months), managing stakeholders from procurement to pedagogy.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent us at key industry events (Didacta, Learntec) and act as the feedback loop between German clients and our Nordic Product team.

Who You Are:

  • Native German Speaker: You communicate fluently and professionally with public sector officials (C2 level).
  • Commercial Mindset: You have 2-5 years of B2B sales experience (SaaS or Education preferred). You enjoy the challenge of opening new doors and closing deals.
  • Strategic & Resilient: You understand that selling to the public sector requires patience, persistence, and a strategic approach.
  • The "Builder" DNA: You thrive in agile environments where you have autonomy and responsibility.
