- Development of FPGA/SoC-based digital designs for the control and readout of complex, robust laser systems
- Ownership of the full FPGA/SoC development lifecycle: from requirements definition and system architecture through RTL implementation, simulation and prototyping to a qualified product
- Definition of the digital system architecture in close crossfunctional cooperation with other departments
- Design and implementation of digital signal processing chains and control loops
- Bring-up, verification and debugging of FPGA designs on target hardware, including measurements and performance analysis
- Creation of verification plans, testbenches and test procedures, as well as development of prototypes and support of system-level verification and validation campaigns
- Documentation of the design according to customer and quality requirements
