General Restaurant/Pub Manager

Our client is one of the largest industrial and retail groups in Ukraine, and a leading national retailer with over 700 stores across the country. In addition to retail networks, the Group's business interests include food production, banking, and restaurant ventures.

As part of the launch of a new restaurant in the concept of a German pub in Kyiv, we are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for implementing the concept and managing the daily operations of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the restaurant concept

• Analyze competitors and respond to external market factors

• Oversee daily restaurant operations (hall, kitchen, supply chain)

• Ensure high service quality in accordance with corporate standards

• Manage the team: hiring, training, motivation, and supervision

• Create work schedules and enforce discipline

• Work with suppliers, manage inventory and stock control

• Monitor financial performance: costs, profits, and operational efficiency

• Handle guest feedback and resolve conflict situations

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

• Conduct internal meetings and provide reports to management

• Participate in corporate events and training activities

Candidate Requirements:

• Higher education in management, hospitality, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial position within the HoReCa sector

• In-depth knowledge of German pub culture, beer, and cuisine

• Experience in financial reporting and team management

• Strong crisis management and time-management skills

• Proficiency in PC and office software (MS Office, Google Docs, Excel, Email)

• Language skills: English

• Duration: 12 months with extension

• Probation period: 2 months
