We are an innovative, globally active Tier-1 supplier in the automotive industry specializing in high-quality interior and exterior components. Operating across international locations in Germany, Europe, and the USA with around 900 employees, we combine deep technical expertise, continuous innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced German-speaking Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to take full ownership of site accounting (HGB), provide functional guidance to operational accountants, support group-wide IFRS reporting, and participate actively in our ongoing ERP implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Ownership & Closing: Manage plant-level accounting independently, overseeing monthly and annual financial closures under German GAAP (HGB).
• IFRS Group Reporting: Support group reporting packages and handle cross-border financial tasks under IFRS in a multinational group setting.
• Team Guidance & Mentorship: Provide functional leadership, guidance, and technical coaching to two operational accountants (Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable).
• Cross-Functional Accounting: Lead intercompany reconciliations, enforce intercompany policies, manage fixed asset accounting (Anlagenbuchhaltung), and continuously optimize closing processes.
• ERP System Rollout: Take an active, hands-on role in the rollout and optimization of our ERP system (Infor LN).
• Audit & Compliance: Serve as a key contact for external auditors and tax advisors during year-end procedures.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Haves:

• Language Proficiency: Fluent German (C1) for local accounting, compliance, and team guidance, paired with strong English (C1) skills for international corporate collaboration.
• Professional Experience: Multiple years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive supplier environment.
• Accounting Standards: Solid expertise in preparing HGB financial statements and experience with IFRS reporting in group structures.
• Education & Qualification: Degree in Business Administration / Finance with a focus on Accounting OR a commercial qualification with a certified balance sheet accountant diploma (Bilanzbuchhalter m/w/d).
• Work Style: Structured, self-driven, and pragmatic hands-on mentality with excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves & Technical Exposure:

• Background or prior experience in the automotive supply industry.
• Practical experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Infor LN is a plus (or strong willingness to learn).
