Club GLOBALS is making international living easy by connecting expats and entrepreneurs with trustworthy service providers online and at local events.
Established in Berlin, Club GLOBALS is supporting the growing trend of mobility and provides a one-stop-shop platform for expats on which they can easily find an international online community, as well as events to attend, accommodation, employment, and local services.
We also developed AiRelo, an artificial intelligence relocation assistant, to facilitate the city registration process without the language barrier and at no cost. Club GLOBALS and AiRelo are operational in Barcelona, Berlin, Munich and New York and will soon be expanding to further major international cities.
For our young and dynamic team, we are looking for an experienced Entrepreneur in Residence (Freelance) who can join our Berlin office on a long-term basis.
Main responsibilities:
- Work closely with the founder and provide central support on both a strategical and operational basis in all business branches of the startup, which includes: business development, sales and marketing, finance, events, HR and other day-to-day operations
- Oversee and support strategic projects, and ensure the path towards long-term growth and revenue for Club GLOBALS and AiRelo
- Develop and secure a profitable business model across the Club GLOBALS branches
- Review and improve existing processes, develop new ones depending on the specific needs of the business
- Analyze market needs and customer relationships
- Establish and incorporate the entrepreneurial mindset in the company culture
The ideal candidate is expected to have experience in working in a startup and on projects on all levels of a business.
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Sales, MBA, or similar
- Ideally more than 3 years experience or more in an entrepreneurial/managerial role in a startup environment (previous internships are also taken into consideration)
- Proven track record of successful business-related projects
- Previous experience in leadership
- High level of professionalism
- Problem-solver, strategic and a focused business thinker
- Proactive, organized and a decision-maker
- Experience working with new technologies and digital products
- GLOBAL mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English and German
