Hauswirtschaftskraft (m/w/d) zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt - Teilzeit 15 Stunden/Woche

To support our rainbowtrekkers day care centre in Cologne Lindenthal, we are looking for a part-time housekeeper/ kitchen helper (15 hrs / week) starting 01.10.2024.

The aim of the kitchen help is to make the already prepared food available to the children on time and to ensure that they find clean, hygienic framework conditions before and after. The daily, weekly, monthly and annual logs for the kitchen are taken into account in accordance with the Health & Safety Handbook.

The main tasks are:

• To make the laundry
• Change and disinfect sleeping mats
• Sweep and disinfect the tables and chairs after lunch in group rooms and in the restaurants
• Wash the dishes
• Clear and wipe tables
• Temperature control of food and refrigerators
• Prepare lunch and snack
• Compliance with hygiene measures
• Warehousing
• Wash, hang up, fold and sort laundry.

The additional tasks also include documenting the daily control of the hygiene standards and the intended temperatures on the basis of specified lists.

Cooperation with other employees

The kitchen aid is in close coordination with the pedagogical staff of rainbowtrekkers Kita gGmbH and is required to adjust the work processes to the daily needs of the groups.

• Experience in housekeeping / kitchen work (in a day care centre would be desirable)
• enjoy working with children and in a team with educators
• good knowledge of German or English
