Head of Communications & Marketing

Where your expertise is needed

• Establish and grow the goodcarbon brand in the media, with third parties and build reputation with target audiences  

• Implement and measure of goodcarbon’s communications strategy, across corporate communications, PR and marketing 

• Develop and implement high caliber corporate and go-to-market campaigns  

• Drive the creation of high quality and engaging content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, videos, webinars and other formats 

• Act as spokesperson for the organization 

• Collaborate with reporters and influencers, juggling a combination of proactive and reactive communications efforts that protect and enhance goodcarbon's reputation 

• Lead the development and execution of crisis management and post-crisis recovery strategies 

• Evaluate the success of communications activities and channels, measuring and interpreting communications data to optimize activities

What we are looking for:

• Excellent communicator and collaborator with a strong focus on execution and delivering daily successes 

• 7+ years experience in Communications and Marketing, ideally in a fast paced, high growth and international environment  

• Experience in the climate or adjacent sectors is a plus 

• Proven track record of executing communications and marketing strategies with measurable results 

• Understanding of media landscape and ability to effectively communicate with journalists 

• Significantly contributed to build the perception of a brand in the eyes of its target audiences 

• Excellent operational and project management, including the ability to manage diverse projects and multiple priorities under ambitious timelines and expectations 

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trust and sustain relationships 

• Fluency in German and English
