Head of Design (f/m/x)

We are now looking for a Head of Design (f/m/x) to lead and scale a multidisciplinary design team across UX/UI and Graphic/Brand Design. In this high-impact role, you will define our creative and user experience vision, ensure outstanding design quality across all brands and channels, and contribute directly to business growth through improved customer experiences and brand impact.

• Lead and grow a high-performing team covering UX/UI and Graphic/Brand Design for all AUTO1 Group brands
• Own and evolve the design vision and system, ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability across platforms (incl. web and app), channels, and customer touchpoints
• Collaborate closely with our Product, Conversion Optimization, CRM, and Development teams to design and optimize A/B tests, improve funnels, and maximize customer satisfaction
• Partner with business and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality visuals and campaigns across paid media, social, internal tools, and corporate platforms
• Drive a user- and brand-centric design culture through research, testing, feedback loops, and rapid iteration
• Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into intuitive, high-converting design and creative solutions
• Foster innovation by introducing AI-assisted design tools and workflows to increase efficiency and personalization at scale

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or visual design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (Head, Director, or Lead level)
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional design teams across product and creative/brand workstreams
• Strong portfolio showcasing both UX/UI design and visual/brand campaigns with measurable business impact
• Deep understanding of user behavior, conversion optimization, and creative execution in performance-driven environments
• Mastery of design tools like Figma, and experience building scalable design systems
• Familiarity with frontend development processes and close collaboration with engineers and QA
• Experience working in fast-paced, KPI-driven environments with multiple stakeholders and brand touchpoints
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English
• Bonus: Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and automated personalization technologies
