Head of Filament Spinning (m/f/d)

As our Head of Filament Spinning (m/f/d), you develop and deploy our CMO industrialization strategy in order to implement our overall strategic plan for upscaling. You will oversee all aspects of AMSilk's filament spinning activities. This includes dealing with CMOs around the world and seeking new partnerships. Team member and organisational development will be another important part of your role.

• Develop AMSilk's spinning strategy as part of the Fiber Business Unit strategy
• Responsible for the expansion of the spinning operations at CMO in line with our business strategy
• Develop spinning strategy in co-creation with the management team
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the CMO strategy: screening, selection and contract negotiations with CMOs 
• Ensure that yarn industrialization projects are in line with the strategic objectives of the “Fiber BU”, within budget and on time
• Responsible for technical know-how transfer to CMOs, trials, start-up and scale-up
• Develop and maintain production KPIs and support the implementation of a ERP-System

• Master in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering
• Extensive knowledge (10+ years experience) in managing operations, filament spinning, departments or large consulting (CAPEX) projects
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and global distribution networks and ability to use innovative technology to resolve problems and implement business solutions
• Understanding and execution of LEAN production philosophy; Leading holistic performance and cost improvement projects, understanding different kinds of Project Management Tools
• Experience in operational KPIs, and reporting / review processes to ensure continuous improvement of the operational performance
• Fluency in English at a business level, both in spoken and written form
• Experience in reporting to C Level Management and investors
