Head of Finance (m/f/d)

Join the Getsafe team as the Head of Finance and play a pivotal role in steering the financial functions of our company. We are seeking a dynamic professional with particular expertise in FP&A / controlling and leading an operational finance team.

As a key leadership figure, you will also serve as a strategic sparring partner for the CFO and other key executives, contributing to financial decision-making and to strategic initiatives such as fundraising and M&A.

• Lead the elevation of our controlling system, including budgeting, steering, gap analysis, and cost control
• Support and lead the key finance functions accounting and controlling, ensure a seamless integration and alignment with the company, and drive operational efficiency of the team i.a. through AI-based automation and workflows
• Serve as a strategic sparring partner to the C-level, engaging and driving discussions that will contribute to the overall success of the company
• Work closely with our CFO to engage in investor and board relations, as well as M&A, in particular financial due diligence
• Foster collaboration with key internal stakeholders, particularly the people, sales & engineering team, acting as a business partner in creating business cases and guiding financial decision-making processes
• Represent Getsafe and the finance team in collaboration with external stakeholders including auditors, investors, banking, insurance, and other business partners

• Proven track record in building, and managing high-performing finance teams with a focus on collaboration, reliability, and continuous improvement
• Background in building and optimising controlling / FP&A systems, incorporating (AI) tools for enhanced operations
• Thrive in fast-paced environments, with a keen eye on building what’s ahead in the finance team and structure
• You have a high "attention-to-detail" and quality in your outputs, with a high sense of responsibility and integrity
• You bring fluency in both German and English
