Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Finance Team in Berlin on a full-time basis /40 hour a week starting immediately.

The opportunity:

The purpose of this position is an opportunity for an experienced FP&A Manager who is seeking to further build & develop the FP&A department with group-wide responsibility.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

Developing and executing a strategy for an efficient FP&A function to support business scale and ensure accurate financial reporting
Leading financial planning processes, including monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and forecasting
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing confidence in decision-making
Implementing financial models to drive strategic decisions and improve profitability
Standardizing financial processes and KPIs to support business growth and continuous improvement
Analyzing margins, revenue streams, and product profitability to optimize sales efficiency
Managing Board reporting with insightful commentary on financial and non-financial measures
Identifying and tracking risks and opportunities, collaborating across teams to mitigate and capitalize on them
Educating the wider business on FP&A practices and promoting a culture of financial excellence
Leading change initiatives and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration throughout the business

Your profile

Over 8 years of experience in Finance/FP&A with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Experience of managing budgeting and forecast processes in a complex environment
Experience of producing a management reporting pack for senior stakeholders
Strong strategic acumen, with the ability to align financial insights with broader business objectives and context
Strong analytical skills, able to identify and interpret trends and improve financial forecasting
Strong staff management skills, including the ability to develop individuals to reach their potential and deal with underperformance if required
Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly, concisely, accurately and in ways that promote understanding, to both finance and non-finance individuals
Strong finance system skills
Ability to manage changing priorities and short deadlines
Resilient and able to manage various stakeholders in parallel
