Arbeitsbeschreibung - Head of Procurement (all genders)

As the Head of Procurement (all genders), you will define and optimize processes for sourcing, selecting, and contracting suppliers and subcontractors. Play a pivotal role in our journey to sustainable aviation by providing an operational excellence through a modern supply chain management system.

Own the end-to-end procurement process.
Develop and implement an efficient, robust procurement process to secure the best suppliers at the best terms.
Establish a streamlined overall procurement process to effectively meet day-to-day operational requirements.
Identify, select and contract leading development partners for structures, systems and various work packages.
Ensure that all necessary contracts are in place to secure the Microliner development and production phases.
Implement and manage a comprehensive supply chain management process to monitor and improve the performance of our suppliers and partners to ensure the highest standards.

More than 10 years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain management, with a proven track record of success.
A degree in Engineering, Business, or Law.
Extensive experience in Aircraft Development Programs, demonstrating industry-specific knowledge and expertise.
Outstanding people skills, including empathy and strong interpersonal capabilities.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, coupled with strong planning abilities.
Fluency in both German and English, with advanced negotiation skills in both languages.
