Head of Production - Fiber Spinning (m/f/d)

As our Head of Production - Fiber Spinning (m/w/d), you develop and deploy our CMO industrialization strategy in order to implement our overall strategic plan for upscaling. You oversee every aspect of AMSilk's yarn spinning activities from strategy development, R&D and production to dealing with global CMO's.

• Develop AMSilk’s spinning strategy as part of the Fiber BU strategy
• Lead our R&D department (R&D Team / Pilot Line / CMO team)
• Be responsible for the scale-up of spinning operations at CMO in line with our business strategy, as well as handling the contract negotiations
• Ensure that projects meet the strategic targets of “Fiber BU” and stay within budgets and deadlines while following compliance with laws, regulations, HSE and AMSilk’s values and code of conduct
• Execute people and organizational development

• Master in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Engineering
• Extensive knowledge in leading operations, departments or large-scale consultancy projects in the chemical, chemical recycling, chemical EPCM or chemical fiber industry
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and global distribution networks and ability to use innovative technology to resolve problems and implement business solutions
• Understanding and execution of LEAN production philosophy; Leading holistic performance and cost improvement projects, understanding different kinds of Project Management tools
• Experience in operational KPIs, and reporting / review processes to ensure continuous improvement of the operational performance
• Fluency to business level in both written and spoken in English
• Experience in reporting to C Level Management and investors
