HR Manager

Our global client is a global transportation and logistics company. We are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their growing team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR operations and ensure alignment with company policies and local labor laws.
• Support the HR team in implementing HR projects and initiatives.
• Drive the recruitment process, ensuring timely and efficient hiring.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new employees and temporary workers, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Ensure compliance with German labor law and works constitution law.
• Advise and support employees and supervisors on all personnel, labor, and works constitution law issues.
• Develop and maintain a strong, flexible relationship with the works council.
• Prepare works council templates and conduct hearings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Manage contracts, contract amendments, certificates, and other personnel documents.
• Conduct return-to-work discussions and manage employee relations.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with personnel service providers and legal advisors to ensure compliance and address HR-related legal matters.
• Support the HR team in planning deadlines, organizing tasks, and executing HR transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in human resources, with a focus on HR generalist functions and recruitment.
• Proven experience in managing relationships with works councils.
• Strong knowledge of German labor and social security law.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• High level of initiative, creativity, and confidentiality.
