Black Semiconductor is looking for a highly skilled HVAC Specialist - Cleanroom Environment (f/m/d) with hands-on experience in HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in cleanroom environments and a strong understanding of HVAC systems supporting temperature, humidity, exhaust (incl chemical exhaust) and particle control critical for microchip production
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems in cleanroom and facility areas
Troubleshoot air handling units, chillers and PCW, (de)humidifiers, HEPA filtration systems, and associated control equipment
Ensure compliance with cleanroom environmental specifications including but not limited to temperature, humidity, and pressure differentials
Maintain the CDA and vacuum system
Work closely with facility and production engineers to ensure optimal environmental conditions for sensitive microchip production
Maintain and calibrate building management systems (BMS) or SCADA and HVAC monitoring tools
Document all inspections, repairs, and maintenance
Support HVAC system upgrades and commissioning of new cleanroom facility equipment
Ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance in all HVAC operations
Site management of HVAC during the construction of the cleanroom
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting in industrial or high-tech environments
Demonstrated experience in cleanroom HVAC systems (ISO Class 5–8 environments preferred)
Strong knowledge of airflow design, pressure balancing, filtration systems, and contamination control
Proficiency in reading technical schematics, blueprints, and understanding BMS software
Vocational or technical training in HVAC or mechanical systems
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
Fluent communication skills in English and German
