About The Happy Customers

The Happy Customers is a Berlin-based startup helping German and European businesses improve their customer experience through AI-enhanced multilingual customer support teams.

We partner with companies across Europe to provide professional customer support through email, chat, and phone in multiple European languages.

We are currently building a talent pool of Icelandic-speaking Customer Support Agents based in Germany to support upcoming client projects.

Tasks

Responsibilities

As an Icelandic Customer Support Agent, you will help customers through multiple communication channels while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Responding to customer enquiries via email, chat and phone (inbound & outbound)

• Resolving customer questions professionally and efficiently

• Escalating complex issues where required

• Maintaining accurate records in customer support systems

• Following client processes and quality standards

• Contributing to customer satisfaction and continuous service improvement

Requirements

Requirements

• Based in Germany with valid work authorisation

• Native or professional proficiency in Icelandic

• Good English communication skills

• 1–3 years of customer support or customer service experience preferred

• Comfortable communicating through phone, email and chat

• Experience with CRM or customer support platforms (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom or similar) is an advantage

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup with laptop/desktop
