To strengthen our Business Analytics team, we are looking for an Inhouse Consultant SAP Business Analytics to shape the future of our global data, analytics, and AI landscape. This position is based in Freiburg im Breisgau.

What's the role about?

In this role, you will help shape the future of SAP Business Analytics at Endress+Hauser. Working closely with colleagues across IT and the business, you will combine project leadership, consulting, and hands-on solution development to deliver data-driven solutions that support decision-making across our global organization.

As part of our Data Engineering team, you will contribute to strategic initiatives around SAP S/4HANA, Business Analytics, and modern data platforms while helping build the foundation for future analytics and AI use cases across the Endress+Hauser Group.

Specifically, you can expect the following tasks:

• Lead and contribute to global IT projects with responsibility for planning, coordinating, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery within our SAP Business Analytics landscape


• Contribute to IT projects as a Data Engineer or Business Intelligence (BI) consultant, designing, developing, and maintaining scalable business analytics applications


• As part of the Data Engineering team, you will primarily work in a BW/4HANA PCE environment, integrating data from various SAP (S/4HANA and ECC) and non-SAP systems and making it available for enterprise-wide reporting


• Manage the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA from an analytical perspective, assessing the impact on existing data models and analytical applications


• Play an active role in implementing our data lakehouse strategy based on SAP Business Data Cloud and advise business teams on building data products and self-service analytics solutions using SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Data Cloud


• Apply your experience with front-end analytics tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BusinessObjects Lumira Designer, and SAP BusinessObjects Analysis for Office as part of your broader responsibilities


• Drive solution design, implementation, and continuous improvement in close collaboration with internal experts and external partners


• Contribute to the foundation for future analytics and AI initiatives across the Endress+Hauser Group

What do we expect from you?

• Several years of experience in SAP Business Intelligence, combined with a strong technical understanding of the SAP BW/BI stack, from system administration and data extraction to data modelling and reporting


• Experience working with SAP BW/4HANA and an interest in shaping modern analytics solutions in an international environment


• Proven project management skills and the ability to coordinate stakeholders, structure initiatives, and successfully drive implementation topics forward


• Experience in designing and implementing data models in SAP Datasphere, combined with the motivation to contribute to modern, scalable analytics architectures


• An understanding of modern data architectures and cloud-based analytics concepts; experience with SAP Business Data Cloud, Snowflake, or data lakehouse architectures is an advantage


• Good knowledge of the SAP FI/CO processes and data structure in both S/4HANA and ECC is beneficial


• Good communication skills in English and German complete your profile
