HolidayPirates Group is seeking a high-velocity Interim CMO to orchestrate a high-velocity marketing engine across 10 markets.
You will directly manage the pillars of Performance and Social, while empowering a Head of Marketing to build deep-funnel value through CRM, SEO, and Influencer networks.
As our Interim CMO, you will hold the keys to our global growth strategy, overseeing the budget and a multi-disciplinary team.
Your objective is clear: optimise our Social and Performance channels and ensure our traffic forecasts translate into bottom-line reality.
This role is located in Germany, with the possibility of remote work.
DUTIES ON DECK
Strategic Steering & C-Suite Alignment
Global Roadmap: Define and refine the Global Marketing Strategy, setting high-impact OKRs and ensuring the marketing organisation is obsessed with progress and course-correction.
Forecasting & BI: Collaborate with the Data Team and Channel Strategists to build robust yearly traffic forecasts. You will be the primary point of alignment between Marketing and the C-Level.
Market Expansion: Identify technical and strategic levers for market development, ensuring our growth is both scalable and automated.
Market Enablement and Adoption: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Market Heads, aligning market needs with overall company strategy & localising global strategies to markets, enabling markets to execute on global strategies
Translate complex Marketing data into "Growth Stories" for the board and leaders
Data Literacy: Foster self-service analytics, giving marketing teams the tools and training to independently extract insights and drive growth without relying heavily on data analysts.
Performance, Mobile & Social Excellence
Performance Marketing: Architect and scale the global performance marketing framework with a rigorous focus on driving measurable ROAS and accelerating total revenue growth.You are responsible for the bid strategies, data attribution, and cross-market budget fluidity to ensure the highest global ROAS.
Social Media : Define and lead the Global Social Media and Video Production strategy, focusing on high-impact storytelling designed to generate significant reach and high-intent traffic that consistently converts.
CRM, User Acquisition, SEO/GEO, Mobile Marketing: Provide strategic oversight for all global marketing initiatives, ensuring performance-driven execution efforts are seamlessly aligned with the wider performance funnel to maximize total ROI.
Financial Rigor & People Leadership
Financial Governance & Performance Steering: Steer global and market-specific Gross Margin (Revenue minus Direct Marketing expenses) in line with budget and corporate guidance.
Operational Leadership: Manage FTE planning and personnel costs. You will be responsible for resource management,, and the professional development of a diverse global team.
