The Opportunity
We’re expanding into mainland Europe with a new office in Berlin—and we’re looking for an ambitious, bilingual Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to help shape this exciting next chapter.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of IN2’s European growth from the ground up. You’ll contribute to key engineering projects, help develop a local team, and become a core part of our Berlin operations. It’s ideal for someone with strong consultancy experience who’s ready to take ownership and grow with a company known for high-quality, sustainable design.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll work closely with our Building Services and Sustainability experts on a diverse range of projects across Europe, including:

• Supporting engineering delivery across new European projects


• Developing project scopes in collaboration with clients and design teams


• Contributing to large-scale Commercial, Hospitality, Residential, Cultural, and Healthcare projects


• Representing IN2 in the German and European markets


• Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff via the IN2 Academy


• Playing a key role in expanding IN2’s multidisciplinary services across Europe

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years’ experience in Mechanical Design (Consultancy environment preferred)


• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and fire safety design


• Experience with Leistungsphasen 1–9 and HOAI standards


• Good understanding of German engineering norms (DIN, VDI, etc.)


• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (DGNB, BREEAM DE, etc.)


• Project management experience is a plus


• Fluent in both German and English


• A collaborative mindset and hands-on approach
