Your tasks and responsibilities:

• You are responsible for an adequate and efficient Internal Control (IC) process for selected European entities in the Internal Control Hub VAR (Varian, a Siemens Healthineers Company).
• You lead the IC Integration of the entities into the Siemens Healthineers Internal Control methodology, in alignment with the IC VAR Hub.
• You are responsible to ensure that the Internal Control (IC) tasks such as applicability analysis and account scoping are completed in a timely manner and at high quality.
• You provide first level support to the Control Requirement Contacts (CRCs) and advise them on the definition, adaptation and harmonization of internal processes and control descriptions.
• You assess control weaknesses (deficiencies) and support the CRCs in the documentation and identification of appropriate remediation plans.
• You report the IC status to Entity management and to IC Central Team on a regular basis.
• You facilitate a timely sign-off of the Internal Certification for the Entities.
• You support and develop the IC community in your Entities via trainings as well as ideas for continuous improvement and increased efficiency of the IC process. Focus will be on data analytics, harmonization and automation of controls, digitalization as well as the use of artificial intelligence.

Your qualifications and experience:

• You have a degree in the field of economics or a comparable discipline.
• You have several years of professional experience in at least one of the following areas: internal control, financial audit, and/or accounting.
• You have an in-depth knowledge of business processes, preferably at Varian, a Siemens Healthineers Company, or other Siemens entities.
• You are experienced in working on agile projects with a multitude of different tasks and stakeholders with international exposure.
• Furthermore, you have an in-depth knowledge of MS Office applications for analyses and reports (Excel, Power BI) as well as management presentations. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• We also welcome applicants with a bachelor's degree or completed vocational training and further education, combined with additional professional experience in this field.

Your attributes and skills:

• You have strong presentation and communication skills.
• Your excellent English skills enable you to communicate easily and at eye level with different parts of the business and management levels in an international environment. Further language skills, especially German, French and/or Spanish are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally for up to 15%.
