The automotive industry is currently facing several challenges: In addition to technological change and digitalization, changing customer behavior and new market players as well as new competitors are the driving factors. These changes require a different approach and communication with potential and existing customers as well as an adaptation of our sales model for Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans.
In this context, our team is responsible for the implementation of a direct sales model within the European region for passenger cars. The aim of the project team is to introduce the so-called "Model D" for new vehicles in certain European markets. After the first two pilot markets in Sweden and Austria, we are driving the further optimization of the sales model and scaling it for further rollouts such as Spain, Portugal and Italy.

This is an exciting, varied and also very international job. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with various internal departments, Europe-wide sales colleagues and a large network of service providers. We also offer you the opportunity to contribute and implement your own ideas.
For these challenging tasks, we are looking for active support for 6 months from September 4.

The tasks in detail

  • Independent elaboration, further development and implementation of project-specific tasks on content-related sales topics, such as sales processes and cross-project measures for market stabilization
  • Development of project structures and implementation in tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Planning and implementing project rollout topics using agile methods
  • Preparation and independent creation of presentation documents, decision papers and management reports
  • Organization and follow-up of meetings, committees and workshops
  • Qualifikationen
  • Degree in international business administration, economics, business administration with a specialization in sales, marketing, controlling, management, international business or a comparable course of study (Bachelor's degree an advantage)
  • Confident written and spoken German and English skills
  • Very good MS Office skills and confident handling of new media
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence would be an advantage
  • Structured and independent way of working, analytical thinking, goal-oriented action
  • Openness to new working methods, high motivation and strong team and communication skills
