Arbeitsbeschreibung - Investment Associate

Build and structure project finance models with (debt-) optimization and scenario planning   

Outcomes 6 months: 
  • Project finance models are on par with infrastructure PE requirements
  • Scenario planning incorporated into project finance models.
12 months:
  • Set up Asset management structure for our investment portfolio
  • Highly dynamic project model in place for quick adaptation to new aspects based on customer or investor requirements.
  • Optimization of project finance models holistically, enhancing CAPEX and operational efficiencies across various systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Financial Acumen:
    • Develop and optimize financial models and forecasts.
    • Utilize financial engineering to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience in Structuring Renewable Deals:
    • Structure winning financial models for renewable energy projects.
    • Manage multiple projects within a portfolio, ensuring each is financially sound and aligned with company objectives.
  • Industry Expertise:
    • Maintain a solid understanding of the renewable energy sector, including current market trends and dynamics.
    • Proactively identify new opportunities and potential risks within the industry.
  • Living Extreme Ownership:
    • Maintain high attention to detail in financial modeling and reporting.
    • Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with precision and efficiency.
    • Demonstrate commitment and dedication, exemplified by experiences such as spending extended time on activities like long train rides for business purposes.
Qualifications:
  • Must-have:
    • Proven track record in financial modeling and forecasting.
    • Experience in structuring and managing renewable energy deals.
    • Strong understanding of the renewable energy sector.
    • Fluency in English and German.
    • Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail.
  • Nice to have:
    • Knowledge in structuring complex financing deals.
    • Educational background such as CFA or equivalent.
    • Experience working in unstructured, fast-paced environments (EG, startups, joint ventures).
    • Based in Munich or willing to relocate.
