We (WTW’s Investments business) help clients in all matters related to capital investment. We provide insightful perspectives, become a collaborative partner, act as skilled investors and deliver meaningful outcomes for our clients. 

Our client base includes a diverse range of institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds. The success of our business depends critically on our ability to help our clients succeed, and to achieve and maintain a competitive edge. Our solutions include advisory and delegated investment services.

The role

We are looking for a full-time investment consultant who will be part of a collaborative team of colleagues working across Western European countries. The successful applicant will work on a wide variety of projects and clients based predominantly in Germany but also across Western Europe. We are typically involved in all phases of the investment process including defining investment objectives and investment beliefs, setting a risk profile and appropriate strategic asset allocation, applying our market outlook across different asset classes, incorporating sustainability and defining investment governance frameworks. 

The requirements

Candidates should possess strong client-facing skills, between 3 to 7 years of professional experience in capital investment, and a focus on commercial outcomes. Other requirements include:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness
• Show good commercial awareness, contributing to the development of client relationships and business opportunities
• Collaborative team player who supports senior colleagues while guiding and sharing knowledge with more junior team members
• Strong proficiency in IT applications, supporting efficient and accurate delivery of work
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of capital markets and portfolio theory in a client and portfolio management context
• Extensive knowledge of applicable legislation as well as regulatory provisions for the investment of corporate pension assets. Advantageous if you have knowledge of most common OAP plan designs, as well the German wealth market. 
• Excellent German and English language skills. Advantageous if skilled in other languages.
