Investment Director

As the Investment Director for Infrastructure Equity in Frankfurt, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the investment activities, strategies, and portfolio management for infrastructure assets within the firm. You will work closely with senior leadership and collaborate with a highly skilled team to identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities while ensuring alignment with our firm's ESG investment objectives and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Strategy:
  
• Develop and implement investment strategies for infrastructure equity in Milan, Italy.
  
• Define investment criteria and parameters, including asset types, sectors, and risk profiles.
  
• Identify and assess market trends and opportunities for infrastructure investments.
  
• Deal Origination and Execution:
  
• Source, evaluate, and conduct due diligence on potential infrastructure investment opportunities.
  
• Lead negotiations, structuring, and execution of equity investments.
  
• Collaborate with legal, financial, and technical teams to ensure successful deal closure.
  
• Portfolio Management:
  
• Oversee the management and optimization of existing infrastructure equity investments.
  
• Monitor the performance of portfolio assets, identify value creation opportunities, and manage risks.
  
• Develop and execute asset enhancement strategies to maximize returns for investors.
  
• Investor Relations:
  
• Maintain and foster strong relationships with investors, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  
• Provide regular updates and reports on investment performance and strategy execution.
  
• Participate in fundraising efforts as needed.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
  
• Proven experience (8+ years) in infrastructure equity investments with a strong track record of successful deals in Italy
  
• In -depth knowledge of infrastructure asset classes, financial modeling, and risk analysis
  
• Strong negotiation and deal execution skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Understanding of ESG and sustainability principles in infrastructure investments is a plus
