IT Infrastructure & Shop Floor Specialist

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of IT hardware (e.g., servers, workstations, shop floor devices) in compliance with regulatory standards
  
• Ensure uptime of critical systems in a regulated (e.g., GxP, ISO) production environment
  
• Provide onsite IT support for production equipment, resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, QA, engineering) to optimize shop floor IT systems
  
• Support and troubleshoot area-specific applications, with a focus on ERP systems (SAP)
  
• Ensure seamless integration of shop floor systems with SAP and other enterprise platforms
  
• Manage and query MSSQL databases using SQL for data analysis and system optimization
  
• Read and interpret existing code to support minor modifications or debugging
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business needs into technical specifications
  
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EU MDR) and maintain accurate records of IT processes and changes
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field
  
• 3+ years in IT infrastructure support, preferably in regulated environments (pharma, medical devices manufacturing)
  
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP) and shop floor IT systems
  
• Proficiency in MSSQL/SQL and basic programming literacy (ability to read/understand code)
  
• Knowledge of requirements engineering and system lifecycle management
  
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management
  
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken) to support local teams and SAP systems
  

• Experience in GMP, ISO 13485, or similar regulated environments
  
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
