Key Responsibilities

• IT/OT Platform Strategy: Build and refine a strategy for Siemens-wide scalable IT/OT platform services incl. Edge-to-Cloud connectivity, Edge-to-Cloud infrastructure & virtualization, IT/OT networking and cybersecurity, IT/OT interoperability and digital twins. 
• Lead Innovation & Customer Zero: Lead activities to pilot new Siemens product innovations in collaboration with internal factories, e.g. for initiatives like Industrial Metaverse, Industrial Information Hub, Unified Namespace or Industrial Copilot. 
• Demand Management: Identify key demands for IT/OT platforms from 100+ Siemens factories in close alignment with a global cross-Siemens Factory Digitalization team. 
• Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. 
• Foster Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with business units, IT teams, product teams and external partners and ensure successful project outcomes. Act as a role model for cross-company collaboration as part of #OneTechCompany. 
• Shape Technology and Service Roadmap: Shape out future IT/OT & IoT services together with service teams from Siemens IT. 

You excel in 

• Education
• Master’s degree in IT, engineering, business informatics or similar  
• Experience & Skills
• Expert know how and >5 years experience in international manufacturing and/or IT organizations and with international/multi-cultural teams of experts 
• Expert know how and >3 years experience in digital transformation projects in OT environments, e.g. factories and/or buildings 
• In-depth knowledge of IT/OT environments, including Edge and IoT connectivity, industrial communication protocols, requirements of industrial operations 
• Advanced knowledge in cloud technologies and architectures 
• Knowledge in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, digital twins, metaverse, etc.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills on all levels of the organization

• Excellent communication in English and German
