IT Specialist (Network Administration)

My client is Europe’s leading manufacturer of storage and security solutions for industrial and IoT applications. Every day, they make the digital world a little more secure by reliably protecting and safeguarding data.

With their own production facility in Berlin and a strong international presence, they drive innovation with passion, courage, and the ambition to always stay one step ahead.

Now, they are looking for an IT Specialist in Network Administration to strengthen their IT infrastructure team.

Your Mission

Together with the Senior IT Network Administrator, you’ll ensure that my client’s global IT infrastructure runs smoothly, efficiently, and securely. You will support and further develop their Cisco -based networks while also contributing your know -how to Microsoft 365, server, and storage environments.

What You’ll Do

• Administer, configure, and monitor global Cisco networks and security systems
  

• Contribute to a future -proof IT and OT network infrastructure
  

• Support and optimize software and hardware (Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firepower)
  

• Troubleshoot network issues and ensure system stability
  

• Administer and configure their Microsoft 365 environment
  

• Support Windows servers (optionally Linux) and storage systems
  

• Provide 2nd & 3rd level support across sites via ticket system
  

• Assist with access control and security alarm systems
  

• Coordinate with specialist departments to ensure smooth system applications
  

• Collaborate with manufacturers to evaluate and implement innovative hardware solutions
  

• Actively participate in continuous improvement processes (CIP) and internal projects
  

Requirements

• ]Completed training as an IT Specialist or equivalent qualification
  

• Solid experience in network support and IT security in mid -sized companies
  

• Strong knowledge of Cisco products
  

• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  

• Ideally: experience in network planning, Windows server administration, and/or Linux
  

• Strong service and customer orientation
  

• Structured, solution -oriented working style with strong communication skills
  

• Very good German and good English skills
