Your area of work:


Strategic IT Partner Management is responsible for managing relationships with strategic suppliers within the CIO/COO area. This includes Professional Service Providers, as well as Hardware, Software, and Cloud Service Providers for Deutsche Börse Group. We act as strategic advisors, driving supplier selection, contract structuring, and project execution to ensure value creation and compliance. We support decision-making through clear, data-driven presentations tailored to stakeholders. As an IT Partner Manager, you will be responsible for managing IT supplier relationships and overseeing contracts and license agreements. You will serve as an interface between IT departments, central purchasing, and external partners, managing end-to-end procurement processes. You will structure and lead strategic sourcing projects, advise stakeholders on sourcing strategies, and effectively communicate project progress and supplier performance to senior management. You are committed to your team’s success, embody DBG’s corporate and IT values, and take ownership of your responsibilities. We value collaboration over individual egos. Your responsibilities:



  • Manage end-to-end sourcing projects with Corporate Central Functions and IT, from requirements definition and RfP execution to supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization

  • Manage DBG’s strategic partners for Software, Hardware, and Professional Services

  • Support CIO/COO stakeholders in aligning sourcing needs with group-wide procurement processes and strategic goals

  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance with financial market regulations and internal governance standards

  • Ensure all sourcing agreements meet regulatory requirements (e.g., risk assessments, outsourcing documentation, EBA and DORA annexes) and maintain centralized documentation

  • Identify and implement sourcing improvements, including automation, cost efficiency, and process optimization

  • Lead sourcing project planning and execution, managing milestones, risks, and dependencies

  • Develop and present sourcing project updates and strategic recommendations in executive-ready slide decks

  • Support the Software License Management process, maintaining accurate license inventories, monitoring compliance, and supporting daytoday operational tasks across the software license lifecycle


 


 


Your profile:



  • Strong academic track record with a degree in information technology, economics, business administration or a relevant field

  • 1-2 Years professional experience in IT Consulting, Technology Purchasing, Partner Management, or related sourcing roles is beneficial

  • Strong analytical and consulting skills, with the ability to evaluate complex sourcing challenges, develop actionable solutions, and support strategic and data-driven decision-making

  • Independent way of working and a high sense of end-to-end responsibility in task delivery and result orientation

  • Customer-oriented and solution-driven working methods

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and the ability to create clear, executive-ready presentations

  • Excellent knowledge of English in speaking and writing
