Are you ready to join us?

Your job:

• You coordinate the VAT, withholding tax and income tax returns for our international Statista companies - in close cooperation with our tax advisors worldwide.

• You will prepare ongoing transfer pricing calculations and actively develop our transfer pricing documentation.

• You will support our domestic and foreign companies in matters of VAT, corporate and international tax law - together with our experienced team.

• You will support the establishment and further development of our tax compliance management system and actively shape tax processes.

• You will be involved in monthly and annual financial statements as well as exciting special projects.

Your skills:

• Degree in economics with a focus on tax/finance - or completed training ("Ausbildung") as a tax clerk or tax specialist

• 1-3 years of professional experience in tax - ideally with an international focus

• Sound knowledge of corporate and VAT law; initial insights into international tax law are a plus.

• A structured way of working paired with team spirit and solution orientation.

• IT affinity and confident handling of MS Excel; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.

• Very good written and spoken German and/or English skills.

In the Tax Team, we specialize in all tax-related matters at Statista – for all Statista entities worldwide. As such, we see ourselves as an internal service provider, handling not only the preparation and review of tax returns and transfer pricing documentation but also responding to tax-related inquiries from colleagues, clients, or tax authorities. Additionally, we provide tax support for cross-departmental processes and projects. Given this diverse range of responsibilities, we ensure that the tax regulations within Statista entities are implemented and adhered to – always in a solution-oriented and practical manner.
