Key Account Manager Partner Sales, Germany
Our client is a global leader in IP networking, offering cutting-edge Switching and Wireless products. They are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Key Account Manager Partner Sales for the Germany region ideally based in the North Rhine Westphalia region in a hybrid role. This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive business growth and expansion with our key partners in the region.
Position Overview:
As a Key Account Manager Partner Sales, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our Partner and Project business in Germany, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives. This position demands a deep understanding of channel dynamics, commercial project business, and the ability to develop and nurture relationships with both existing and potential partners.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with existing partners while identifying and cultivating new key partners.
- Take ownership of sales territory covering Germany West and North regions.
- Collaborate with partners, distributors, and vendors on complex projects involving networking components.
- Drive partner project pipeline management and engage directly with corporate end customers.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Stay abreast of competitive landscape and develop strategies to maintain category leadership.
- Create proposals, negotiate agreements, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Plan and prioritize sales calls to maximize sales objectives.
- Coordinate with internal resources to optimize sales outcomes.
- Provide relevant market insights and competitive information to improve business performance.
- Run sales plays to accelerate product adoption within the
- portfolio.
- Deliver regular project and pipeline updates for reporting and forecasting purposes.
- Manage project business including product selection and pricing.
- Maintain and develop partners through ethical sales methods and effective communication.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in IT Industry sales, preferably in a channel or end customer sales role.
- Demonstrated success in managing partner business with project pipeline administration.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and strong goal orientation.
- Ability to thrive in a challenging market environment.
- Excellent team player with dynamic interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation and business relationship building abilities.
- Understanding of channel partnering economics and dynamics.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the IT Infrastructure industry.
- Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.
- GERMAN AT PROFESSONAL LEVEL as well as ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
- ELEGIBLE TO WORK IN GERMANY
