Kaufmännischer Leiter Deutschland / Finance & Administration Lead Germany (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Finance & Administration Manager Germany (m/w/d) to join our Berlin office and take ownership of finance and broader administrative activities for our German operations. While the main focus of the role will be on finance and controlling, you will also oversee a broader range of local administrative matters like HR, HSE, Office management and act as the key interface to our teams in Prague, translating group processes and requirements into practical solutions for Germany. 

What you would work on? 

• Take ownership of the day-to-day finance agenda for our German operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, controlling and coordination of accounting activities. 


• Act as the key interface between the German business and our Finance team in Prague, ensuring group processes and requirements are understood and implemented locally. 


• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors and other local service providers. 


• Support management with financial analysis, reporting and ad hoc commercial topics. 


• Oversee the administration of the office 


• Serve as the local point of contact for broader administrative matters, including HR, office management, health & safety and related operational topics. 


• Work closely with the respective specialist teams in Prague in a matrix structure, translating central policies and processes into the German regulatory and business environment. 


• Build and continuously improve efficient finance and administrative processes as our German operations develop. 


• Lead a small team of admin staff in the German offices. 

What makes you a great candidate? 

• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in finance, commercial administration, business operations or a comparable role. 


• Previous experience in the renewable energy / RES sector. 


• Strong understanding of finance, accounting, controlling and reporting processes. 


• Experience with broader administrative topics such as HR coordination, office management, compliance or health & safety. 


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. 


• Ability to work independently and take ownership of a broad range of topics. 


• Hands-on, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach. 


• German at C2 / native-level proficiency. 


• Very good English skills for collaboration with international teams.
