Tolomatic’s Europe GmbH


Objective:

To pursue project business and large-volume contract opportunities with automotive OEMs & Tier Automotive Suppliers for Tolomatic Europe GmbH. To manage project business with customers as well as long-cycle sales engagements that culminate in the negotiation of multi-year agreements. To be responsible for growing strategic accounts by offering Tolomatic products used in automotive manufacturing – which would include regular collaboration with OEM stakeholders, robot and controls manufacturers, system integrators, and weld gun suppliers.


Key Functions:

  • Sells USA technology/components to European customers in the automotive manufacturing space.
  • Functions as a liaison between Tolomatic and targeted end users and original equipment manufacturers regarding the sale of ServoWeld and other Tolomatic Automotive products. Utilizes all available company resources in achieving sales objectives and the desired level of customer satisfaction.
  • Represents the company in the planned selling of Tolomatic products consistent with established sales goals and policies. Continuously promotes the quality and performance advantages of Tolomatic products to ensure the retention and further penetration of profitable business.
  • Evaluates sales activities, progress and results and, where appropriate, promptly takes or recommends corrective action to facilitate the attainment of established goals.
  • Coordinates with the Director of Automotive Business and other sales/marketing team members in developing market plans, sales plans, market strategies, and customer or product programs required to attain established business and market goals and objectives.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for OEM accounts, managing all aspects of the relationship.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an appropriate business or technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of similar outside sales experience calling directly on automotive customers and corporate management.
  • Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written.
  • Additional lingual abilities a plus. (e.g. Spanish, French or Italian).
  • Experience selling technical products or systems with a thorough understanding of modern automation systems.
  • Experience selling into Automotive manufacturers and Automotive Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Proven ability to plan and initiate effective sales performance.
  • Driven individual with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Technically competent to effectively promote the service, quality and performance advantages of Tolomatic products.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to frequently travel between the USA and Europe.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, prospects, company personnel and others.
