Key Account Sales (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Key Account Sales person who will work as a part of the Global Account Sales Team for Applied Materials Europe, managing different customer in the semiconductor industry. 

Your key responsibilities as a Key Account Sales:

  • As the account owner, represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities 
  • Identifies customer needs and develop/implements complex sales strategies
  • Calls on existing or new customers to present Applied product and services offerings; coordinates customer demonstrations with product business group representatives
  • Communicate and present Applied Materials product roadmaps and capabilities to the customer, as well as communicating and presenting the customer’s technology needs to product business group representatives
  • Prepares pricing quotes; negotiates to final price and submits documentation to book order. Follows-up on accounts receivables, escalations, etc.
  • Conducts follow-up on accounts receivables
  • Maintains appropriate coverage and documentation for all assigned customers. Maintains summaries of customer visits. Develops customer specific action plans and completes them on a timely basis.
  • Updates forecast(s) proactively and utililizes fully the companies digital tools including SFDC, SAP, Overdrive and others
  • Coaches, mentors and supports junior team members to achieve the highest levels of personal and sales success
  • Maintains the highest level of personal and professional development, using all AMAT pathway and 3rd party development and training resources
  • Your education and experience

  • A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
  • Significiant experience in the Semiconductor (or related) industry.
  • A technical sales expert, who demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function.
  • Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adapt a different point of view.
  • Is capable of becoming a product specialist for at least one AMAT product.
  • Knows how to navigate business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process, or service improvements.
  • Experienced in leading projects with notable risk and complexity, developing the strategies for project execution.
  • Problem solving techniques to find solutions for unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business. Conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions is expected.
  • Persuasive communication skills to communicate complex ideas, to anticipate potential objections and to persuade others at senior level, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Proven capability to work with cross-functional & multi-national teams in a positive and goal-oriented way.
  • Strong networking capabilities and relationship building skills.
  • Semiconductor manufacturing equipment and/or process know-how
  • Willing to travel internationally up to 50%
