Arbeitsbeschreibung - Kitchen/Food Service and Events Coordinator (Full time or Part time)

SAVES, INC. is looking to add a Kitchen/Food Service and Events Coordinator who enjoys food preparation and working with volunteers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Status: (Full or Part Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt)

Requirements:

Certified Food Preparer as required by applicable law, (ServSafe Certification)
Knowledge of social etiquette involving food service
Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven skills in basic accounting and records management
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift 60 pounds
Ability to work flexible hours

Responsibilities:

Scheduling and booking of all Social Hall events
Preparation of contracts and invoices for use of the Social Hall
Coordinates the preparation of all food to be served at all events
Prepare/Cook food items for all events
Orders all food and supplies for all events
Scheduling & supervision of food service volunteers at all events
Collection of payment for social hall events
Maintain accounts receivable for social hall events
Work with Janitor to ensure good housekeeping, sanitary and safety standards
Responsible for kitchen laundry
Maintains cleanliness of all food service equipment
Performs other duties as required or instructed by the Board of Officers

Authority:

Delegate responsibilities to a qualified substitute in your absence
Food Service invoices to be prepared within 48 hours of each event
Ensure professional and efficient delivery of food at all events

Relationships:

Reports to the President or designated Board member
Works with the Public for contracted services
Assists Fundraising committees with menus for events
All volunteer kitchen personnel will take direction from this position

Expected Results:

Food Service invoices to be prepared within 48 hours of each event
Ensure professional and efficient delivery of food at all events
Monthly reporting of Social Hall activity

Required Certifications:

ServSafe Certification
