Meet The Team
As SE Leader, you will be responsible for your direct SE team. You play a vital role for our Systems Engineering (SE) team by providing technical vision and tying it to strategic business goals. You are regularly sought after for a trusted advisory role, both internally by the Partner-teams and externally by our Partners. You will demonstrate your internal and external network of business relationships as a focal point to drive collaboration, and to achieve a wide range of business goals and corporate initiatives.
Your Impact
The Systems Engineering Leader is an authority at technical and business planning and mentors others on resource planning and technical excellence. You will be expected to be an effective business partner for our partners as well as the leadership team at the operation level of our Partner organization. The SE Leader is responsible for developing a high performing team of SEs, demonstrating technical and business excellence. You will be actively engaged externally with technical leaders and business partners of our partners and internally with BU/Development, Architecture-teams and CX. Along with the sales leadership-teams, you will review business metrics, progress against the business plans, and initiate changes in anticipation of evolving market/industry trends to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities:
You demonstrate skilled leadership throughout the operation and area.
You are an expert in converting high-level strategy into actionable tactics.
You look at the business through a 12–18-month window.
You have the respect of the SE/SA team, the SE Leaders and the account/partner- leadership team, as well as the extended team including Business Units, Architecture-teams and CX.
You are considered a knowledgeable and trusted senior point of contact for internal upper management within the Cisco organization and have a proven track record also with senior level management at our customers and/or partners.
You can clearly communicate Cisco's strategic vision.
Minimum Qualifications
6 years+ years related experience in the technology industry
Profound Technology & Industry knowledge
Experience in pre-sales and management of related sales support processes
Excellent written and oral communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
German and English language skills
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent
Cisco experience highly desired
