Arbeitsbeschreibung - Logistics Manager (m/f/d)

In this role, you are the interface between production, purchasing, waste disposal and transport companies as well as authorities and are responsible for both operational and strategic topics.
You will be responsible for setting up the entire logistics processes.
In this context, you will coordinate (inter)national transport in compliance with applicable dangerous goods and waste regulations and professionally handle import and export processes (including customs formalities).
Operationally, you will control and monitor the daily incoming and outgoing goods (raw materials, waste, products).
You will also be responsible for selecting, managing and evaluating external logistics service providers.
You will develop sustainable and efficient supply chain strategies for recycled materials and hazardous goods.
In the longer term, you will be involved in the logistics design of future locations and international supply chains.
You will also support the Logistics division in the implementation and further development of S/4HANA.

You have a degree in logistics, industrial engineering, chemical engineering or a comparable qualification.
You have several years of professional experience in operational and strategic logistics - ideally in the chemical, waste disposal or recycling industry.
You also have proven experience in international hazardous goods and waste logistics.
You have sound knowledge of customs law and foreign trade regulations.
You are interested in setting up new processes and structures and are characterized by a high degree of personal responsibility and creative drive.
Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
