Manager Group Accounting IFRS (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

Group Reporting & Consolidation

• Lead the preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements, disclosure notes, and management reports.

• Support the monthly and annual consolidation process, including data validation, reconciliations, and consolidation adjustments.

• Collaborate closely with international subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate reporting package submissions.
  

IFRS & Accounting Policies

• Maintain and update Group Accounting Policies and the Group Accounting Manual.

• Drive the assessment and implementation of new or revised IFRS standards.

• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex topics such as revenue recognition, IFRS 16, IFRS 18, impairment testing, and PPA.

Internal control

• Design and Maintain the Group internal control framework.

• Ensure the good implementation of the internal control rules within the Group.

• Monitor action plans and promote continuous improvement.
  

Subsidiary Support & Communication

• Act as a trusted business partner for local accounting teams regarding IFRS and accounting policy matters.

• Support the development of training materials and contribute to IFRS workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  

Audit & External Interfaces

• Serve as a key contact for external auditors, preparing required documentation and addressing audit inquiries.

• Coordinate the year-end group audit and manage related deliverables.
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Group Controlling, operational networks and subsidiaries to ensure consistent accounting treatment across the group and improve the internal control framework.
  

Your Profile

• Degree from a business school or MBA, ideally with a focus on finance, accounting, or auditing.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing.

• Strong audit background, ideally gained at a Big 4 or another reputable audit firm.

• Proven experience with IFRS, either through audit engagements or preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  

• Experience with group reporting or exposure to consolidation processes (lead responsibility not required).

• Strong technical understanding of IFRS with the motivation to further deepen your expertise.

• Proficiency in Excel; experience with consolidation tools (e.g., LucaNet, SAP BFC) is an advantage

• Business-fluent German and English skills
