Your mission
One of your most important challenges as Managing Director Technology is to lead and develop our technical product portfolio in close collaboration with the R&D and Product Management Directors. You will be responsible for the technical direction, innovation and quality of our products. You will also be responsible for coordinating product development, optimization and launch to ensure market-driven and future-oriented solutions. You will also ensure that the technical solutions meet customer requirements, quality standards and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will promote a culture of innovation and identify new technologies that can be integrated into the product portfolio and work closely with internal and external partners to utilize technological synergies and strengthen competitiveness.
Some of your other main responsibilities are:
- Promoting technological innovations while incorporating the latest trends (e.g. AI/ML, IoT, predictive maintenance).
- Ensuring technological competitiveness and IP strategy.
- Close coordination with sales, marketing and customers to ensure customer-centered product development.
- Initiating and managing digital projects for process optimization, new business models and data-driven services.
- Coordination of external development teams, including performance monitoring, budgeting and contract negotiation.
Your profile
You have an academic education in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or a related field and in your many years of professional experience, which you have acquired in a management position in product development or technology management, you have ideally worked in the field of condition monitoring or a related technology. You have built a strong track record in a similar environment and have successfully held a leadership responsibility. Furthermore, you have a complete and deep technical understanding in sensor technology, data analytics, machine learning, AI, IoT and software development. Your very good communication skills in German and English as well as the ability to recognize technical trends at an early stage and integrate them into the corporate strategy complete your profile.
