Manufacturing Engineer - Automation

Join us as Manufacturing Engineer - Automation (m/f/x) and work with us on changing the future!

• Develop code from the ground up to enable seamless integration between our factory equipment and our back end systems
• Create streamlined interfaces using modern frameworks that enable out engineering teams to develop automated product evaluation within our manufacturing systems
• Follow best practices and design patterns to develop modular and reusable code.
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance microservices that enhance system functionality and drive business value

• +2 years of experience with a Bachelors in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
• Deep understanding of Python (FastAPI, AioHttp), Javascript/Typescript (Express), or similar technologies applied to web servers
• Front-end experience in Angular, React, or similar JavaScript framework
• API development experience (REST, GraphQL)
• Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, or similar database technologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines including exposure to tools like GitLab, Jenkins
• Experience with unit and e2e testing tools such as Pytest, Jest, Playwright

Nice to Haves :

• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker, Docker compose
• Knowledge on middleware techniques to improve security, performance, and scalability
• Exposure to integration with ERP, MES, PLM or other engineering and manufacturing software systems
• Exposure to integration with manufacturing machines and back-end systems
• Experience in fast-paced iterative design and manufacturing environments
