Arbeitsbeschreibung - Manufacturing Technician (all genders)

As an (R&D) Manufacturing Technician, you will ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing facility. Maintaining consistent production quality, minimizing downtime, and ensuring that all systems and processes operate smoothly to meet production goals in compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. This includes proper documentation, regular audits and continuous monitoring.
Implement a Zero-Safety-Incedent culture with no safety violations.
Identify and adress any deviation from design specifications during production processes.
Maintain traceability and history of executed work through adherence to manufacturing processes and documentations.
Create lessons learned depository to foster continuous improvement.
Maintain and optmize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Implement Zero-FOD (Foreign Object Debris) culture.

Completed training as a technician in the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics or industrial mechanics.
A qualification as an electrician is an advantage.
More than 5 years of professional experience in aerospace, automotive or battery production.
Basic ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and manufacturing documents.
Experience using electrical and mechanical tools such as multimeters, IR testers, torque spanners, calipers, drills, etc.
Experience in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, spot welders, dispensing equipment and presses.
Familiarity with measurement and testing methods in manufacturing (e.g. OCV, IR, SOC, SOH, CV, CC).
Experience with safety protocols (including LOTO procedures) and handling hazardous materials.
Hands on experience with inspection and testing procedures in the manufacturing environment.
High accuracy in manufacturing physical products in accordance with manufacturing documentation.
Experience in manufacturing and testing of high voltage battery modules is an advantage.
Fluent in English, knowledge of German.
