We’re expanding and currently looking for a MAP Design Leader (m/f/d) to join and strengthen our customer team in Nordenham, Germany.

As part of this role, you will lead technically complex and cross-functional design activities within the MAP (Manufacturing Assembly Process) perimeter. You will collaborate closely with our customer and with experienced, team-oriented colleagues from configuration management, manufacturing engineering, and program teams; all within a highly professional environment equipped with state-of-the-art tools and digital platforms.

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership across your area of responsibility, acting as the key technical point of contact for MAP design coordination at the national level. You will also provide essential support in transnational design processes, tools, and methodologies, ensuring seamless integration between internal teams and customer expectations.

Your main tasks will be:

• Leading and validating 3D models and 2D drawings in alignment with MAP and program requirements
• Acting as the primary technical interface with the customer for design coordination and issue resolution
• Reviewing incoming design inputs and technical data for compliance, consistency, and manufacturability
• Managing the preparation and delivery of design data packages to the customer, suppliers, and internal teams
• Supporting the harmonization and application of design methods, tools, and industrial standards across international teams

• At least 10 years of industry experience in aerospace or aerostructure design
• Solid understanding of thermoplastic composite materials and related manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and familiarity with 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA
• Experience with aerostructure assemblies and working within industrial programs (e.g. Airbus, F10X or similar)
• Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and design documentation standards
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and directly with customers
• Confident handling of non-conformities, concessions, and configuration tools
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar)
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
