Marketplace Manager (m/w/d)

You will ensure that processes run smoothly and that our marketplaces grow sustainably. True to the motto “Efficiency today, growth tomorrow,” you will actively shape the future of our sales channels. Operationally

• Onboarding of new marketplaces and expansion of partner platforms
• Organization, maintenance and mapping of master data to ensure high-quality listings and processes
• Control of product creation on different marketplaces as well as variant creation and optimization of processes
• Development and monitoring of self-delivery and dropshipping models as well as strategic control of partner platforms
• Ensuring smooth order processing, problem solving and improvement of operational processes
• Calculating and analyzing prices, creating volume forecasts for sales, stock quantities and orders
• Managing availability, funding and promotion strategies for the various marketplaces
• Ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements and optimizing billing processes
• Integrating new sales channels, creating requirement specifications and strategically scaling marketplace activities

Education

• Completed training in the field of e-commerce or a degree in e-commerce, marketing or business development

Experience

• Initial experience in managing operational marketplace processes, ideally with a focus on platforms such as Shop-apotheke, Otto, Kaufland, etc.
• Knowledge of how to work with matrix and project organizations
• In-depth experience in managing e-commerce processes with a focus on marketplaces
• project experience, particularly in scaling and strategically optimizing sales channels, as well as building international online sales channels

Professional knowledge

• Knowledge of system architectures (SAP, APIs, middleware) and the integration of new sales channels
• Knowledge of working with partner platforms and an understanding of operational topics such as fulfillment, pricing, data maintenance, listing processes
• Fluent German and English

Soft skills

• Self-organized, structured and highly analytical way of working
• Strong negotiation skills and strengths in working with the team and other relevant interfaces
• Ability to react flexibly and develop solutions even when things change quickly
